Invisalign promotes results within three to 18 months. I was told, if I did it correctly, my journey would only take a year, if I was diligent. I am diligent, I asserted. Back then, I woke up most mornings before the sun to write. Many evenings I listened to the radio until it was way too late just so I could clean up after myself and my children. I remembered doctor’s appointments, school activities, and even managed to see both kids through a pandemic right before I got my aligners. I could do this. Fixing my teeth would be a breeze.
However vain I felt, I decided to fix my teeth because I spent too many nights unable to breathe properly.
