Spanish to English translation of Resoz Trenzaros is Braided Prayers.
When my friend first invited me to a Sunday afternoon community activity, the words sprawled across the middle of the flyer. I put my translation skills to use.

At first, I thought it was a braiding workshop.

“Perfect. My mom and sister will finally be proud of my skills!” I hoped to overcome the shadow of a knack that had always eluded me.

Then, upon further examination, I thought maybe we would be praying.
“Weird, but I’m down,” I murmured, taking another glance.

Honestly, it wasn’t until the morning of when I searched for directions to the event that the true meaning finally hit me: we’d be braiding fabric.
In community, no less.
